Prawdę mówiąc tych magazynów nie da się czytać, można je głównie przeglądać. Tekstów jest tam jedynie tyle co na lekarstwo, dominują zazwyczaj dziwne sesje zdjęciowe modelek – nie modelek i rysunki podobno znanych grafików. Styl jest co najmniej chaotyczny.. w zasadzie nie ma w nich stylu w prasowym tego słowa znaczeniu. Tak na prawdę każdy magazyn lifestylowy jest o wszystkim i o niczym. To takie postmodernistyczne dziecko XXI wieku w czystej postaci. Próbowałem kiedyś mojej żonie wytłumaczyć co to są pisma lifestylowe. Mimo, że bardzo się starałem nie potrafiłem przedstawić tego w jednym zdaniu. Dopiero gdy naocznie zaprezentowałem jeden z tytułów zrozumiała dlaczego miałem problem z ich opisem. Ktoś kto nie widział nigdy pism takich jak „Hiro”, „Fluid”, „A4”, Exklusiv”, Futu”, „Laif” czy „Lifestyle” nie będzie w stanie sobie wyobrazić tego gatunku literatury prasowej. W zasadzie każdą gazetę którą nie da się zakwalifikować pod żadną „normalną” kategorią, wrzucamy do szuflady „lifestyle”. I tak jest również w przypadku nowego tytułu z tej kategorii. „Lans” nie różni się od swoich współbraci niczym szczególnym. Jest taki jak wszystkie inne. Można powiedzieć, że jest typowym przedstawicielem swojego gatunku. Zapewnienie wydawcy że „Lans” nie jest kolejnym pismem, które kładzie się na szafce” wydają się twierdzeniem mocno optymistycznym. Przynajmniej na razie, gdy na rynek wyszedł pierwszy numer.
